Book on verses released at Azad Bhavan, Pathsala

A book on verses composed by Dr Pankaj Kalita and published by Akhar Prakash was released formally recently in the presence of book lovers at Azad Bhavan, Pathsala by prominent poet Anubhab Tulashi.

PATHSALA: A book on verses composed by Dr Pankaj Kalita and published by Akhar Prakash was released formally recently in the presence of book lovers at Azad Bhavan, Pathsala by prominent poet Anubhab Tulashi.

After releasing the book, he lauded the effort of the writer and said that verses were necessary for human beings. The need of verses in human life will continue till the earth exists, he said. The book is titled Radar Sati arubhal poar barasun.

Birinchi Borah, SDPO Bajali, Dr. Binita Bora Dev Choudhury, a poet and associate professor of Bhattadev University, Pathsala, and writer Nilim Akash Kashyap also spoke on the occasion. A number of poets, including Dr. Binita Bora Dev Choudhury, Giren Gope, Garima Bhardwaj and Gitumani Talukdar also read out poems on the occasion.

Meanwhile, the writer announced to spend the money earned from the book for the treatment of poor people.
