TEZPUR: The Daredevils of Motorcycle expedition, an initiative taken by Border Roads Organization (BRO) to carry out a challenging adventure of exploring India, reached Tezpur at HQ Project Vartak on Tuesday. They carried out many outreach activities to spread awareness of BRO's achievements and its contribution towards nation building.
The endeavour was to connect with the people of the country with different traditions, cultures and act as messengers in spreading the message of peace, harmony and national integration among the masses.
The outreach programme had many events which were spread over a day, like holding a medical camp at an orphanage and old age home, interaction at various levels with school children, CPLs and finally Road Safety Campaign undertaken in close cooperation with civil police wherein pamphlets/handouts on driving rules and safety precautions while driving were distributed.
