The Election Commission of India, Chief Election Department in Assam, Government of Assam and other persons have finalized the reconstitution of the three constituencies of Boko, Chaygaon and Palashbari of the South Kamrup Assembly based on the recommendations made by the Boro National Organization of South Kamrup from 2002 to July 19, 2023.”

Swargiary said, “The reservation of Boko Chaygaon constituency for the tribals has brought great responsibility among the tribal people and the responsibility of this constituency will have to be taken directly by the tribals. Therefore, the Boro national organizations will take a leading, conscious and intelligent decisive role in the MLA elections.”.
