DOOMDOOMA: The boundary wall of Jawahar Hindi High School situated at Rupaisiding collapsed on Thursday. It is alleged that the wall which was constructed in the financial year 2019-2020 collapsed so soon because of poor quality of construction. An amount of Rs 10 lakh was sanctioned for the work. When contacted, the District Education Officer, Tinsukia expressed his displeasure at the incident and said that it was the duty of the head of the institution concerned to look into the matter before issuing utilization certificate to the authority to felicitate payment to the contractor.
