BTC chief Pramod Boro attends passing out parade of 15th Bn SSB in Kajalgaon

An impressive passing out parade of the 1st batch of BRTC CT (GD) in 15th Bn Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) was held here at its headquarters, Kajalgaon

KOKRAJHAR: An impressive passing out parade of the 1st batch of BRTC CT (GD) in 15th Bn Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) was held here at its headquarters, Kajalgaon on Tuesday. A total of 250 recruits, which include 125 for sector headquarter and 125 for 15th Bn SSB were trained for 44 weeks of rigorous basic training covering entire subjects for their selfless service.

Attending as chief guest in the programme, Chief Executive Member of Bodoland Territorial Region Pramod Boro took the salute and inspected the parade. He also distributed prizes to the recruits who performed exceptionally well in various indoor and outdoor activities.

In his speech, Pramod Boro congratulated the recruits on the successful completion of training and exerted them to perform their duties with dedication and commitment for serving the country. He also lauded the contribution and achievement of SSB for guarding the country.

In his welcome address, SSB's Guwahati Frontier Head Quarter Inspector General (IG) Sanjeev Sharma appreciated the diligent efforts put in by the trainees and the team of instructors in shaping and molding the recruits into physically and mentally strong. The newly trained jawans were administered oath of allegiance under the national flag and SSB flag during the programme.

The passing out parade was followed by a photo session of trainees with chief guest, other guests present and officers and demonstrations by trainees. A good number of SSB's top level officials, including BTC executive member Ranjit Basumtary, Assam Police's Special Director General Dr. L R Bishnai were also present on the occasion.
