Udalguri: BTC Chief Pramod Boro Reviews Implementation of Orunodoi & Re-SVAYEM Schemes

Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) Chief Executive Member Pramod Boro held a meeting with Dr. P. Uday Praveen, Deputy Commissioner of Udalguri, and all Circle Officers and Block Development Officers of Udalguri regarding Orunodoi Scheme and Re-SVAYEM.

UDALGURI: Orunodoi & Re-SVAYEM Scheme Implementation in Bodoland Region: Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) Chief Executive Member Pramod Boro held a meeting with Dr. P. Uday Praveen, Deputy Commissioner of Udalguri, and all Circle Officers and Block Development Officers of Udalguri regarding Orunodoi Scheme and Re-SVAYEM.

Orunodoi Government Scheme is to be implemented on a mission mode in Udalguri district, said Boro. Dilip Saikia, MP, Mangaldoi HPC, expressed hope for good governance and overall development in BTR under the leadership of Promod Boro. The Deputy Commissioner of Udalguri briefed about the progress and status of Orunudoi Scheme's implementation in the district.

The Bodoland Region CEM also reviewed the current COVID-19 situation in the district. He has handed over 1,065 Oxymeters and 1,065 thermal scanners to the Deputy Commissioner of Udalguri for distribution among ASHA workers, enabling them to screen people for any symptoms of COVID-19.

Boro asked all the officers present in the meeting to implement the flagship schemes of the Government of Assam to extend the benefits to the poor households suffering during the COVID pandemic. The meeting was also attended by BTR deputy chief Gobinda Chandra Basumatary, MLAs and MCLAs from the district.
