BTC DIG Violet Baruah distributes ration to poor families

Kokrajhar: With a view to extend a helping hand to the poor people during the ongoing lockdown, the DIG, BTC, Violet Baruah on Monday distributed ration to poor families at Romanpara near Kokrajhar town. Baruah distributed rice, dal and potatoes to the poor families in their doorstep.

Baruah said there was no way to get rid of the dreaded virus but to stay safe at home. She asked villagers not to venture out during the lockdown and to maintain social distancing.
