KOKRAJHAR: The All BTC Primary TET-2019 Qualified Association has demanded that the government should give them first priority during appointment of teachers. The association has decided to call on State Education Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma to submit their charter of demands. In a press meet held at Kokrajhar Press Club, the president of All BTC Primary TET-2019 Qualified Association, Tonmoy Choudhury said they had formed the association on June 14 to look after the issues of TET qualified teachers of BTC (ZONE-2). He said that a delegation of the association would soon meet State Education Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma to submit a memorandum. He also said that they would call on the Governor to place their demand for appointment of qualified persons in BTC zone. He also said that the TET examination was conducted by the Assam Government and so they wanted first priority in BTC for appointment.

Choudhury said that earlier there was an advertisement for TET qualified teachers for entire Assam region, except zone-2 which was BTC. He appealed to the government to look after the qualified candidates of BTC by giving priority to appoint them.
