KOKRAJHAR: BTR Chief Executive Member Pramod Boro launched the Bodoland Super-50, the flagship programme of the BTR government for engineering aspirants for 2022-23 batch, at the District Library in Kokrajhar on Monday. The BTR government has already formed a governing body headed by BTR Chief Pramod Boro and a technical body headed by Executive Member Dr Nilut Swargiary, and appointed faculties in various subjects to run the course smoothly.
Inaugurating the course, BTR Chief Pramod Boro said that fulfilling the aspirations of those poor students who cannot go to Kota, Delhi and Guwahati for IIT and NIT preparation is one of the flagship programs of the BTR government. He informed that so far, a total of 38 students have already been enrolled for the course. 'All of them are from poor families and will be given free lessons by the BTR government by providing them with all the facilities. "We have already appointed the best disciplines for the course and we are also thinking of taking help from the best coaching centres in India and giving them quality courses," he added. On the occasion, BTR Chief Pramod Boro also held a meeting with MLAs, BTR Executive Members, officials of education department and educationists from Kokrajhar district regarding to school adoption. Earlier, BTR Chief Pramod Boro inaugurated the newly constructed office building of the CHD of Library Services department at Dimalgaon, Kokrajhar.
