The BTR Gorkha Samaj has lauded the voters of the region for casting their vote in favour of a change.

UDALGURI: The BTR Gorkha Samaj has lauded the voters of the region for casting their vote in favour of a change. Dipak Nirola, the general secretary of BTR Gorkha Samaj, while addressing media persons in Udalguri on Tuesday, said that the people had ensured the end of Hagrama Mohilary's 'misrule'. He claimed that the people of Udalguri and Baksa district had voted for the United People's Party Liberal (UPPL) believing in the leadership of Pramod Boro.

The BTR Gorkha Samaj also thanked the State Election Commission and the Government of Assam for conducting peaceful election. Nirola appealed to the people of Chirang and Kokrajhar districts to vote for UPPL.
