DEMOW: Nirmal Debnath (45), a businessman and a resident of Demow Dehajan Padumoni Path, passed away on Sunday in Dibrugarh while undergoing treatment in a hospital.
According to sources, Nirmal Debnath was suffering from gastric problems and on Saturday night he was taken to Siu-Ka-Pha Multi Speciality Hospital at Desang Rajabari near Demow for treatment. On Sunday morning he was taken to Dibrugarh for better treatment. Nirmal Debnath died in Dibrugarh on Sunday afternoon. His demise has been widely condoled. Business establishments of Demow remain closed on Sunday evening to condole Debnath’s demise. The All Assam Bengali Youth Students’ Federation (AABYSF) Demow Regional Committee also condoled the demise of Nirmal Debnath and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul. He leaves behind his parents, wife, son and a host of relatives.
