Cattle Smuggler From Bangladesh Killed In BSF Firing Along India-Bangladesh Border

Reportedly, the BSF personnel on Sunday morning a few people trying to smuggle cattle with the help of a bamboo crane over the border fencing.

Guwahati: Border Security Force (BSF) on Sunday Morning shot dead a Bangladeshi national at the Indo-Bangladesh border in Makchar.

According to reports, the person was gunned down while he was trying to smuggle cattle to Bangladesh with the help of a bamboo crane.

The person identified as Faridul Islam, a resident of Rowmari in the Kurigram district of Bangladesh.

Reportedly, the BSF personnel on Sunday morning a few people trying to smuggle cattle with the help of a bamboo crane over the border fencing.

When the security forces tried to intervene, they tried to fled away from the spot following which the BSF personnel opened fire.

In the fire, one of the smugglers was injured grievously and later succumbed to his injuries.
