CM Himanta Biswa Sarma inaugurated IT park in Kokrajhar

Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma in presence of Union Minister of State for Textile & Railways Darshana Vikram Jardosh and BTR CEM Pramod Boro on Saturday inaugurated the newly constructed Information Technology (IT) park at Elaishijhar, Chandamari near Kokrajhar.

KOKRAJHAR: Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma in presence of Union Minister of State for Textile & Railways Darshana Vikram Jardosh and BTR CEM Pramod Boro on Saturday inaugurated the newly constructed Information Technology (IT) park at Elaishijhar, Chandamari near Kokrajhar.

Beautifully designed in the shape of a ship, the five-storeyed IT park with fully functional IT infrastructure has the facilities for online examination, digital India office, training room, auditorium hall, digital library, multimedia office, build-in space on lease, cafeteria etc. The IT park was constructed at a cost of Rs 34 crores.

The Chief Minister later had an interactive session with the students of Central Institute of Technology (CIT) Kokrajhar, Bineswar Brahma Engineering College, Bodoland University. He also assured to solve problems of Bineswar Brahma Engineering College and said he will personally visit the institution on January 24 next year.
