BARPETA: State Health Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma, Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare, Pijush Hazarika and Principal Secretary, Health & Family Welfare, Samir Sinha visited Barpeta’s Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed Medical College and Hospital (FAAMCH) on Monday and met the doctors to discuss about how to take preventive measures to keep the people safe from the pandemic COVID-19.
He urged all the physicians and FAAMCH authority to protect and save people from this pandemic disease. He urged the health workers not to leave Barpeta station. If any people have come from outside, they must be quarantined for 14 days or else necessary action should be taken, he said. The Minister added that soon FAAMCH would be upgraded with ICMR.
