PATHSALA: At a time when the second wave of COVID-19 is wreaking havoc in India, the busy Pathsala Railway Station in Assam's Bajali district is yet to have a screening area to screen passengers for the virus. Although a large number of passengers board and unboard different trains in this busy railway station, the railway authorities have not taken any initiative to screen passengers arriving here. Although the Bajali district administration has issued several guidelines to curb the spread of the virus, many people can be seen flouting all protocols in the district. A total of 178 people in Bajali have tested positive for COVID-19 this month.
