Curfew imposed in Borguri village in Sonitpur district

TEZPUR: Apprehending great threat to human life and property due to free movement of a Royal Bengal Tiger in the area, Manvendra Pratap Singh, Deputy Commissioner-cum- District Magistrate, issued an order imposing curfew in Borguri village, Napaam GP under Tezpur PS in Sonitpur district.

No one without special permit of the District Magistrate shall go out in public or leave their houses until the forest department is able to restrain the tiger. The order came into force with immediate effect.
