MANGALDAI: Darrang Deputy Commissioner Dilip Kumar Borah reflecting a rare spirit has voluntarily opted for home quarantine following his Personal Assistant reportedly came into contact with a COVID-19 positive patient. The PA to the Deputy Commissioner Jiten Saharia on Friday gave lift to one retired SBI employee Kanthi Ram Saharia on his motorcycle and Kanthi Ram Saharia was detected positive with COVID-19 on that evening. As the PA attended his official duties on Friday, apprehending his possibility to get infected the Deputy Commissioner asked the PA to remain under home quarantine and arranged for collection of his swab sample for laboratory test. The Deputy Commissioner has also made arrangements for collection of the swab sample of all the officials and employees. He will be under home quarantine at his official residence till the results of swab test come.
