Talking to a section of media persons in Kokrajhar on Thursday, Borgoyary said he was delighted that senior and responsible leaders of the BPF had suggested his name as BPF candidate in the 2024 parliamentary election from Kokrajhar ST HPC. He said the region was in need of a responsible candidate who would be an anchor for the betterment of the people of BTC. He said there was a circle in BTC who played communal politics- Boro and O-Boro- to grab seats and Naba Kumar Sarania had emerged victorious by playing the O-Boro card. Borgoyary said there were responsible leaders in BPF who worked hard for the basic foundation and development of BTC with an inclusive policy.
