MANGALDAI: “It is a social responsibility on the part of the students’ community of Darrang district to achieve their desired goals and aims in their academic field so that their individual growth may contribute in transforming the district from its status of aspirational district to a well developed district. The district administration is committed to extend all possible support to the students in bringing a total change in the academic field of the district,” Darrang Deputy Commissioner Munindra Nath Ngatey said while interacting with the students of BJ Girls HS School at Sipajhar on Monday. He was interacting with the girl students while inaugurating the 15-day duration special summer coaching programme and offered inspiring and motivational speech.
Mention may be made here that as per the appeal made by the Deputy Commissioner during his visit to the school last month, the school authority extending a positive response organized this summer camp in collaboration with the Ghorabandha Block Resource Centre of Sipajhar Education Block. All the class X standard students of the schools under the Block Resource Centre have taken part in this camp organized under the Block Coordinator Pranab Kumar Deka. Senior journalist of Darrang Bhargab Kumar Das interacting with the students offered useful tips to motivate the students. Principal Imran Hussain also took part in the function in presence of journalist Ranjit Kumar Nath, President of School Management Committee Putul Saikia, senior teachers Binita Devi, Madan Nath, Pabitra Hazarika and others.
