MORIGAON: Deputy Commissioner Rituraj Bora on Saturday inaugurated the 31st National Road Safety Week-2020 in the DC office’s entrance gate. The Road Safety Week will culminate on January 17. Earlier, DTO Debasis Dutta and MVI AK Barua felicitated DC Rituraj Bora, Superintendent of Police Swapnaneel Deka and ADC Sayed Tahidur Rahman with traditional gamosa. Inaugurating the Road Safety Week, DC asked people not to do rash driving. Road Safety Week is observed throughout the country every year in order to highlight and emphasize the need for safety on roads. Altogether 100 bikes took out a rally across the town on the occasion.
