DEMOW: The Demow Yuba Samaj took out an awareness cycle rally for protection of Panidehing Bird Sanctuary on Saturday morning. The Panidehing Bird Sanctuary is situated in Thowra Constituency of Sivasagar district. The rally was led by Dipjyoti Gogoi and other youths who started the rally from Raichai Rural Stadium on Saturday morning. Dipjyoti Gogoi alleged that the migratory birds which used to come in the Panidehing Bird Sanctuary have decreased. He said that Panidehing Bird Sanctuary is in a poor condition. Dipjyoti Gogoi appealed the people of Demow to protect the Panidehing Bird Sanctuary. The rally ended in HCDG College in Nitaipukhuri near Demow on Saturday.
