GOLAGHAT: The Department of women and Child Development, Golaghat organised a district-level meeting on the formation of the Internal Committee under Prohibition of Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Act, 2013 with all the heads of the line departments at the conference hall of Deputy Commissioner, Golaghat on Tuesday.
The meeting was presided over by Dr Neha Yadav, Additional Deputy Commissioner-cum-I/C SDO(C), Bokakhat & WCD, Golaghat. Gauri Priya Deori, (I/C) DSWO, Golaghat welcomed all the members present in the meeting and gave an overview on the Act and Jupi Saikia, Gender specialist, District Hub for Empowerment of Women, gave a brief note on the Act. Officials of ICDS projects, POSHAN and DHEW along with all the heads of the line departments were present in the meeting.
