Deputy Commissioner Keerthi Jalli reviews Gunotsav-22 results in Kamrup

GUWAHATI: A review meeting to analyse the outcome of Gunotsav-2022 was held on Thursday at the Conference Hall of the Integrated DC's Office, Kamrup under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Keerthi Jalli.

The meeting discussed the reasons of non-performing schools of the Kamrup district in the Gunotsav-2022, stated an official press release.

Kamrup District has achieved 8th rank based on A+ grade. A total of 344 schools of the district have got A+ grade in the result. Moreover, 924 schools have got A grade, 603 schools have got B grade, 231 schools have C grade and 101 schools have got D grade.

In today's meeting, the poor performance of C and D grade schools was analysed. Deputy Commissioner Jalli directly interacted with the headmasters, BEOs, CRCC, BRP etc., and instructed them to become more proactive so that their result in the next Gunotsav and academic examinations can be upgraded. Moreover, finding some irresponsibility on the part of some school authorities, she instructed that show-cause notices be served upon headmasters of the schools and CRCCs concerned. She also instructed the Inspector of Schools and District Elementary Education Officer for taking steps for rationalization of teachers.

The meeting was also attended by Kamal Barua, ADC (Education), Inspector of Schools, Kamrup, Apurba Thakuria and officials of Education Department, Kamrup.
