DIBRUGARH: DHSK Commerce College Alumni Association (DHSKCCAA) organized an alumni meet-cum-annual general meeting of its members on Sunday. Since its inception in 2002, the association is catering the needs of the Alumni of DHSK Commerce College. As reported by the secretary in its meeting, the association has recently got itself registered under the Societies Act, 1860.
The association formed a new committee for the session 2023-26. The new committee comprises of Pawan Kumar Garodia as its president, Rajib Borman as vice president and Dr. Jecob Konwar as secretary of the new committee.
Apart from this the committee includes three organizing secretaries namely Rishiraj Barooah, Nipon Hazarika and Bani Kachari; seven executive members.
As a special invitee to the meeting Dr. K.M. Bhagawati, principal of the college stressed on the role of alumni in the overall development of the academic institution. He also pointed different kinds of task that could be performed by an alumnus in the greater interest of the college. He requested alumni of the college to come forward and take active participation in college activities.
