TINSUKIA: The diamond Jubilee celebration of Assam Chah Karmachari Sangha (ACKS) with a theme 'Progress of tea industry and future security of employees' was held at Nalini Tea Estate under the aegis of Panitola branch of ACKS in association with Panitola and Nalini clusters on Sunday. The ACKS flag was hoisted by Moniram Gogoi while INTUC's flag was hoisted by Jay Chandra Saikia president and secretary of Panitola branch. The meeting held at Jadunath Bhuyan Memorial Manch was chaired by Moniram Gogoi and was addressed by central general secretary Rishav Kalita as chief guest, Dr Saurav Buragohain senior physician of TATA Referral Hospital Chabua as key speaker. Kalita in his address spoke on contribution of Assam tea industry in global market. Among those present as guests were Dr Bhaskar Mili assistant labour commissioner, Mridul Hussain, assistant PF Commissioner, ATEPFO besides others.
