Dibrugarh gears up for ‘Pran Pratishtha’ of Ram Mandir at Ayodhya

DIBRUGARH: Along with rest of the country, Dibrugarh is also gearing up for the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony of Ram Mandir at Ayodhya. People has been celebrating the grand event and they are excited for the ‘Pran Pratishtha’. To mark the occasion of ‘Pran Pratishtha’, a huge rally was taken out from Rani Sati Mandir and it passed through the main routes of the town. Everybody participated in the rally chanting ‘Jai Shri Ram’.

The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) Nagar, Dibrugarh has been involved in many religious programme in association with other organisations and Mandir committee. Maithili Samaj organized a Kalash Yatra, which started from Hanuman Garhi Mandir and passed through the main routes of the town. Women wearing traditional attire also participated in the yatra.  On January 22, Vishwa Hindu Parishad along with other organisation has organized a Havana, which would be performed by Gyatri Paribar at H.S road, Dibrugarh. From 1 pm onwards Maha Arati will be organized to mark the grand day.

“We have organized many programmes on Monday, which is a historic day for all of us. For last 500 years we are waiting for Ram Mandir, now the day has come. Ramayana Bhajan, cultural programmes by the students of VKV school and other cultural programmes are organized,” said Pallov Kumar Chakravortty, president of VHP, Nagar.

Abhijit Paul, secretary of VHP, Nagar said, “We are very much excited for the day because for all Sanatani’s it is a great day. As per all Hindu rituals   the event will be conducted. We are in association with all the organizations to mark the great event.”
