DIBRUGARH: Yoga expert Pranab Kumar Nath from Dibrugarh has bagged first position in senior category in the international level Yogaasana Competition 'Maha Yogi and Yogini 2022' organized by Art of Learning Institute virtually. To promote the message of good health through Yoga, on the occasion of International Yoga Day at Art of Learning Institute, Navi Mumbai, he participated in the traditional Yoga category held on July 16, 2022.
Recently in another event, he won second place (silver medal) in senior category at the World Yoga Cup 2022 organized by Universal Yoga Sports Federation at Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.
Pranab Kumar Nath has been practicing yoga from a tender age and began achieving laurels in 1998 by achieving top rank in the all India Yoga Competition organized by World Yoga Society, Kolkata. By profession he is an Assistant Director of Akashvani and Doordarshan Kendra Dibrugarh under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. He is also serving as a government departmental yoga resource person voluntarily.
