HAFLONG: The Chief Executive Member (CEM) of the Dima Hasao Autonomous Council (DHAC), Debolal Gorlosa appealed to all sections of people to protect and preserve their own culture and tradition unitedly, at a meeting held at SaraswatiVidya Mandir, Boro Haflong on Saturday.
CEM Gorlosa, in presence of Executive Members P.Nriame, Ramgalungbe Jeme, Dr Pawan Kumar Tiwari, organizing secretary Vidya Bharati, and others, inaugurated various construction and renovation works done at Saraswati Vidya Mandir, Boro Haflong. The development works done included construction of boundary wall, including two gates; renovation of existing guest house, mini guest house, including Ram Mandir; renovation of boys’ hostel; and renovation of RCC (G+1). Gorlosa also inspected all the ongoing construction of works and appreciated the contractors and the managing committee for their endeavour.
