Haflong: The Dimasa Women’s Society (DWS), in view of the present situation, has appealed to all the communities of the district especially all tribes to be united against the divisive policy of the vested interest of leaders from State level and thereby maintain peace and brotherhood between the tribes, stated a press release issued by DWS on Thursday.
The release signed by Ringmila Hojai and Sobila Kemprai, president and general secretary Dimasa Women’s Society maintained that some state level political leaders facing nose-dive following their communal design in the recently concluded assembly polls in some states, may try to fish in troubled water targeting the forthcoming assembly election of 2021.
