District-Level Workshop On Mission Basundhara Held

MANGALDAI: Following the workshop for the Additional Deputy Commissioners (Revenue), Revenue Circle Officers, Revenue Circle Officers (Attached) of the state on the smooth implementation of Mission Basundhara in Guwahati on September 19 and September 20, Darrang district administration on Friday organized a district-level workshop at the District Library auditorium on Friday.

All the lot mandals, Supervisory Kanangoh and Gram Pradhans under five Revenue Circle offices of the district took part in the day-long workshop.

Taking part in the workshop, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Vivek Shyam Pangyok spoke on the various services under Mission Basundhara and laid stress on the smooth implementation of Mission Basundhara in the district. He also spoke in details on the process of settlement of Government Khas Land and Ceiling Surplus Land, acquisition of ownership rights by occupancy tenants, settlement of transferred annual patta land from original pattadar after making government land through AR cases, settlement of land for indigenous special cultivators, settlement of hereditary land of tribal communities, settlement of Village Grazing Reserve (VGR) and Professional Grazing Reserve (PGR), e Khajana, Non Cadastral Village Survey under SVAMITVA scheme and Re-Survey of lands.

Revenue Circle Officers Sameer Choudhury of Dalgaon, Ashirwad Hazarika of newly formed Pub Mangaldai, Nayan Jyoti Pathak of Mangaldai and Kamaljeet Sarma of Sipajhar Revenue Circle also took part in the workshop.
