Drawing competition held along Indo-Bhutan Border to observe Wildlife Week

BAKSA: A drawing competition was held on Sunday at No 1 Paharpur ME School along the Indo-Bhutan Border which was organized by Kumarikata Forest Range Office under Baksa Forest Division on the occasion of 66th Wild Life Week which has started from October 1.

More than 35 students of the locality participated in the drawing competition which was inaugurated by Pranab Das, ranger of Kumarikata Forest range office. The competition was held on the subject of natural beauty and a picture of the participant's choice. After the drawing competition a meeting-cum prize distribution ceremony was held at the school hall. The meeting was conducted by Pranab Das, Ranger of Kumarikata, where Abbas Dewan, ACF of Baksa Forest Division, Madan Mohan Bhatt, Assistant Commandant of 64 Bn SSB, Darrangamela, SSB Inspector Nokul Ram of Patkijuli Camp, Headmaster of No 1 Paharpur ME School Raban Ishawary, social worker Hom Giri along with forest personnel Biren Boro.
