RANGIA : In a massive special drive conducted against ticketless passengers by a team of 33 persons led by Dipankar Gogoi Divisional Commercial Manager, Rangia in UP 5801 Manas Rhino train and DN 12505 Northeast Express on Friday, a total of 346 cases of ticketless travel were detected and penalty of Rs. 282990 was recovered from the passengers travelling without proper ticket. Talking to reporter, Gogoi said, “Ticketless travel is a social menace and causes great inconvenience to genuine passengers as well and Rangia division strongly urges all passengers to travel in train only with proper tickets. He further said that such type of operation will be continued regularly. The team was comprises of 17 commercial staff, 9 RPF staff and 6 GRP staff.
