TEZPUR: A system for online application for E-Pass for Essential Services for people of Sonitpur district has been made available at https://sonitpur.gov.in/latest/epass-for-emergency-services . An official press release stated that the software developed by NIC Assam State Centre has features for applying for vehicle pass from anywhere, approval by designated authority authorized by Deputy Commissioner, sending SMS alerts to the applicant. Applicants will be able to download the pass from the website once approved.
