GUWAHATI : While addressing the closing event of a workers' camp of the Assam unit, Mohan Bhagwat, the chief of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) stated that every village in the country should have a RSS branch. All the members of these organisation should focus on the development and progress of the country.

He emphasised on the fact that, India as a country should be a priority of all the people regardless of any sort of differences. He urged the gathering to never stop working for the welfare of the nation. Mohan Bhagwat shared his view that, every village should have a branch of the organisation as there is an agreed provision for them to work for themselves.

The Swayamsevaks should come forward, work for the society and lead it towards betterment, he said. The three day event where this discussion took place was only confined to RSS workers.

Bhagwat further stated that, the prime objective behind the formation of RSS back in 1925 was to develop human resources. It was established by Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar. Differences in opinions might arise among the members but the goal should always be common, added the RSS chief.

He claimed that the RSS existence is 100 years old and till date, every year new, enthusiasts come forward to join the organisation and work for the nation. The RSS leader praised all the members for their tremendous effort towards nation building. Apart from this, he also encouraged them develop a fair and just character.

He further mentioned that all the activities of the Swayamsevaks are noticed by the society, hence they should shift their entire focus primarily on the public. Last month, while concluding his four day tour in Bihar, Bhagwat asserted that all people living in Hindusthan, are Hindus.

People in India are all Hindus, as all the other identities have been made possible because of Hindu character of acceptance. He further said that, if all the citizens in India adopt the feeling of selfless service, and become Swayamsevaks, organisations like RSS will not be needed anymore.
