Under the Election Commission of India's SVEEP (Systematic Voter's Education and Electoral Participation) voter awareness contest taps the talent and creativity of the people while strengthening democracy through their active involvement," said DC Nazreen Ahmed.

The idea behind arranging quiz contest is to engage with inquisitive minds and to gauge the awareness level of participants regarding the electoral process in the country. The song contest is aimed at harnessing the talent and creative minds through a medium of song in any form, including classical, contemporary and rap etc or they can share or create original compositions on the given theme. Video-making contest provides an opportunity to all camera lovers to create a video that celebrates the diversity and festivity of elections in India. Poster design is for art and design enthusiasts who can create thought provoking posters on the contest theme.

The song contest, video making contest and poster design contest are classified into three different categories - institutional, professional and amateur where the top three winners in each category will be awarded exciting cash prizes.
