Eid-ul-Fitr celebrated at Goalpara's town Idgah field

The peaceful congregation of hundreds of people performed the Eid-ul-fitre namaz where Hafiz Moulana Iman Ali was the imam and led the prayers

GOALPARA: The Anjuman-E-Khademul Islam, a premier non-government organization in the Goalpara district, celebrated Eid-ul-Fitr at the town Idgah field.

The peaceful congregation of hundreds of people performed the Eid-ul-fitre namaz where Hafiz Moulana Iman Ali was the imam and led the prayers. Later, a feast for the Musafir or non-resident students, businessmen, security personnel etc. was arranged at the Hafizia Madrassa Masjid by the voluntary donors and three local Muslim societies – Nayapara, New Bakurpara and Kalpananagar.

AK Motiul Islam, president, and advocate Nasimul Islam, general secretary of Aanjuman-E-Khademul Islam, that the organization was working to develop the graveyards and other properties under it with public donations. The organization further aims to work for the uplift of socio-economic and educational development of the greater Goalpara society and create harmony among different faiths with the help of district administration.
