A CORRESPONDENT
LAKHIMPUR: A Faculty Induction Programme (FIP) under the purview of NAAC was held at Lakhimpur Commerce College on Wednesday.
Organized by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the college, the programme was inaugurated by Dr Lohit Hazarika, the Principal of the college. The objective of the programme was explained by Dr Dadul Rajkonwar, convener of the IQAC. Dr. Harini Patowary Das, Department of English of the college, briefed the faculty members on the subject of the programme. Dr Das explained that the requirements by NAAC for the second cycle of the reaccreditation of the college as trained by Dr Kalyan Bhuyan, Director of IQAC of Dibrugarh University. The FIP session was attended by all the faculty members of Lakhimpur Commerce College, librarian and IT department.
