KOKRAJHAR: The play Fasi (The Hang) staged by Lwrgi Theatre Group (LTG) of Kokrajhar at Bodofa Cultural Complex, Kokrajhar on Sunday evening enthralled the audience and received huge applause from all quarters.

The script of Fasi, written by Keshab Mashahary, an NSD pass out from Chhattisgarh, focused on the spread of the deadly corona virus across the globe. The play brilliantly focused on the bad impact of COVID-19 in the society, right from normal life to economy, education, superstition and politics of corruption. The bad impact of smart phone among the students after the launch of online classes was shown in an explicit manner where a student of a daily wage earner died by hanging himself as he did not have a smart phone to join the online classes.
