Filling up of District Information & Public Relation Officer (DIPRO) post demanded

In the memorandum, the journalists said that the DIPRO has been running with three employees – one Junior Assistant, one peon and one mike operator.

MORIGAON: Morigaon District Journalist Association on Friday met Deputy Commissioner Devashis Sarma and submitted a memorandum demanding to fill up the District Information & Public Relation Officer (DIPRO)'s post which has been lying vacant since long in the district. The team of journalists demanded the Deputy Commissioner to fill up the post of DIPRO immediately. In the memorandum, the journalists said that the DIPRO has been running with three employees – one Junior Assistant, one peon and one mike operator. As the DIPRO and UDA have been attached to the Director of Information & Public Relation Office (DIPRO),Guwahati, the works of the District Information & Public Relation Office, have been affected.
