DOOMDOOMA: Former Minister and MLA of Doomdooma LAC Dileswar Tanti is seriously ill and had to be admitted to Guwahati Medical College (GMC) on Monday, according to family sources. His health deteriorated as he was suffering from blood haemorrhage for the last few days. Tanti who is 78 years old now was minister for Labour in Hiteswar Saikia's ministry in 1991 and MLA of Doomdooma LAC from 1978 to 2006.
