Former MP of Rajya Sabha Biswajit Daimary and Tamulpur MLA Emmanuel Mosahary joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at Kumarikata

BAKSA: Former MP of Rajya Sabha Biswajit Daimary and Tamulpur MLA Emmanuel Mosahary joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at Kumarikata under No 26 Darangajuli Constituency in the District of Baksa on Sunday. On this occasion, a joining ceremony-cum open meeting was held at Kumarikata which was presided over by Ram Dahal, president of Baksa district BJP. Joining the BJP Emmanuel Mosahary said, "I had a great wish to work in a national party like BJP. I have fulfilled my wish today. I don't want to be under the limitation of four districts, rather I want to work nationwide. People of BTR now wants to be free from the rule of Hagrama-led BPF, and it is proven by today's gathering in this field."

Addressing the people Biswajit Daimary said, "People of BTR have been deprived during the last 15 years by the BPF. No proper development work has been seen in the BTR. Only corruption is seen everywhere. Now I have joined the BJP and people of the BTR will get justice."

Further, he added, "I have many things to say about corruption of the BPF. Today is the first day in the BJP for me. I will out for the field from tomorrow and will raise my voice against the BPF in front of the common people in proper time. Addressing the mass gathering Finance and Health Minister Dr. Himant Biswa Sarma said that during the rule of BPF, only corruptions took place.

"The people of BTR will avoid the BPF and will cast their valuable votes in favour of the BJP. We will form government in the BTC," he added. State BJP president Ranjeet Kumar Dass, BJP Central secretary and MP Dilip Saikia, Minister Bhabesh Kalita also addressed the mass gathering in the meeting. More than 40,000 people gathered at the joining ceremony of Biswajit Daimary and MLA Emmanuel Mosahary.
