JAMUGURIHAT: A free medical eye check-up convened by Jamuguri Town Committee in collaboration with ERC, Tezpur was held at Bapuji Bhavan on Sunday.
Sootea MLA Padma Hazarika inaugurated the eye camp and praised the initiative of Jamuguri Town Committee. A total of 200 patients from various parts of Jamugurihat thronged the camp. The patients were given free medicines and spectacles at a discounted rate by ERC Hospital, Tezpur. The medical camp was attended by Pallabita Sarma, mayor of Jamuguri Town Committee, Anjan Kalita, Manalisha Hazarika, Jagat Jiban Bora, Sujit Talukdar besides others. Dr. Prasenjit Haldar, Dipankar Nath, Bijay Karmakar and Abhilash Sarma conducted the camp.
