TINSUKIA: Union Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas, Rameswar Teli along with Minister of Labour & Tea Welfare Department Sanjoy Kishan distributed free LPG cylinders to women beneficiaries under PM Ujjala 2.0 scheme and launched the registration of workers of the unorganised sectors under e-Shram at a programme held at TDA Cultural Centre, Tinsukia on Monday.
Organised by Tinsukia district administration in association with IOCL Marketing Division and Labour & Welfare Department, Government of Assam, a total of 20 token beneficiaries received free LPG cylinders while 15 beneficiaries received e-Shram cards. The welcome address was delivered by CGM IOC (Operation) KV Ramanamurty. MLAs of Digboi, Margherita and Doomdooma; DC of Tinsukia Narsing Pawar, vice chairman of Assam Hydrocarbon Energy Ltd Seuj iDubey were present among others.
