Free textbooks distributed at Lakhiminagar ME School, Sivasagar

SIVASAGAR: "I do not believe that no one can smell the fragrance of the new textbooks and the joy contained in the new books." This is how Kamal Jyoti Gogoi, Inspector of Schools, Sivasagar, reminisced about his childhood during the Vidyalaya Pravesh ceremony, 2022 at Lakhiminagar ME School on Friday.

During the event, students were admitted and free textbooks covered with banana leaves were distributed among them. A large number of students, parents and teachers enjoyed Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Pariksha Pe Charcha' from the digital classroom of the school.

In keeping with the Utsav Vidyarambha and Pariksha Pe Charcha, Subhan Gowala, District Development Commissioner, unveiled a special issue Kuhipaat of the school's wall magazine Akhra Ghar, edited by teacher of the school, Shanti Borgohain.
