Girl dies of drowning in Manas River at Abhayapuri

BONGAIGAON: One girl drowned in the Manas River at Abhayapuri. This incident took place on Wednesday in the Arimara area under Abhayapuri PS of Bongaigaon district where a girl named Ruksana Begum, a resident of Kushbari of Abhayapuri, fell into the Manas River and drowned. She had come to Arimara to her relative's house when the incident took place. Later, her body was recovered by SDRF team.
