GOLAGHAT: Golaghat Police recovered a huge quantity of drugs from Moinapara bypass area on Saturday night. According to police report, based on specific input regarding illegal drugs trade, on Saturday night a naka was set up at Mainapara by-pass Tiniali under Golaghat Police Station. During checking, 40 shop cases of heroin (around 522 grams) were recovered from a Tata Safari.
In this regard, four persons were arrested and a Tata Safari vehicle was seized. The illegal drugs were brought from Dimapur towards the Jorhat district.
