MORIGAON: The preparation for the celebration of the Golden Jubilee ceremony of Morigaon Municipal Board has been completed. The 11 wards of the town has been cleaned up by the members of self-help groups of the town. There are three traffic points at Morigaon town which were being cleared by the authority of MMB. The children park have been decorated with the motto ‘Amara Nagar Amar Morigaon’. The dividers of the town have been newly constructed. The chairman of MMB Jugesh Tamuly has informed The Sentinel that Health Minister Keshab Mahanta, Minister of I & PR and Water Resources Piyush Hazarika and Minister of Municipal development Ashok Singhal will attend the meeting on Saturday. The two day-long programme will conclude on April 9. Noted singer Jublee Barua will perform.
