GORESWAR: With 9 sub-committees a celebration committee of Goreswar Kendriya Bihu committee was formed in a general meeting at Goreswar Anchalik Srimanta Sankardev Satra which was presided over by Goreswar Kendriya Bihu Committee president Bhaben Rajbongshi. The purpose of the meeting was explained by Bijoy Rajbongshi.
The general meeting nominated Bijoy Rajbongshi as president and Parameswar Deka as general secretary and formed a strong celebration committee with 9 sub- committees.
The general meeting resolved to celebrate Bihu from 1st Bohag with a three-day long colourful programme. The meeting also proposed to release a Souvenir namely 'Gamkharu' in the connection of the celebration and the writings like poem, article, story etc are requested to submit by March 20.
