GOLAGHAT: The All Assam Jatiyatabadi Yuva Chatra Parishad (AAJYCP) central committee strongly opposed to the decision to close the vernacular medium schools in the State.

On Tuesday in a press statement, the president and general secretary of the organization Sayedur Rahman and Nipon Gogoi respectively said that the Assam government is hatching a conspiracy to close down the vernacular medium government schools. The government had engaged the teachers, students to organize various government flagship schemes. As a result it would affect the regular teaching of the students as well as the students deprived from the education. If it continues then students will be compelled to take admission in private schools instead of government schools. Furthermore, they claimed that a recently released app for teachers and pupils will upset the teachers' minds. By coordinating the implementation of numerous plans and creating a positive environment in the education department, they asked that the burden placed on the educational institutions be reduced.
