BISWANATH CHARIALI: Guru Purnima was celebrated with enthusiasm at Maharishi Ved Vigyan Vidyapeeth Ashram, Biswanath Chariali on Monday. Dr Dulumani Saikia, Sub Divisional Medical Officer of Biswanath Chariali BPHC, was present as the chief guest in the programme. In her speech, she said that she observed immense devotion and faith towards Gurudev through Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. Every person should have devotion and loyalty towards Gurudev, she added.
As an invited guest, Principal of Shiksha Mandir Academy, Kamla Kanta Upadhyay said that Maharishi propagated and spread vedic knowledge and science in the whole world with the blessings of Gurudev.
While conducting the programme, Ashram Principal Punya Prasad Vastola highlighted about Guru Purnima and said that the knowledge received by Maharishi in the form of prasad should reach every person in the whole world. Ashram in-charge Bhupal Kumar Sharma threw light on transcendental meditation while Ashram in-charge Manoj Singh expressed gratitude to the guests. Acharya Khagendra Gautam offered vote of thanks.
